George F. Robinson is an Executive Consultant with Insight Education Systems, the leadership, diversity, and organizational development consulting company which developed MicroInequities: The Power of Small™ with MIT’s Dr. Mary Rowe. George has worked with companies such as Boeing, Cisco, Monsanto, Merck, and Coca-Cola.
As Founder and President of The Robinson Group, a Minneapolis-based consulting and training company, Mr. Robinson utilizes twenty-seven years of experience in helping companies align their culture strategy with business goals to heighten productivity and bottom-line performance. As a seasoned executive consultant, he has implemented breakthrough training, sales, and marketing strategies for clients such as Ford Motor, Philip Morris, Cendant, Bayer and Riddell.
Mr. Robinson is former President of The Kydd Group, an integrated marketing and event planning agency, specializing in ethnic markets. He forged and facilitated key partnerships with clients such as General Motors, Miller, General Mills, and Target.
From 1985 to 1995, he was Partner and Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Pecos River Learning Center, Inc., where his marketing strategies doubled growth for three consecutive years. He developed partnerships with DuPont, Bayer, Ford and Astra Merck and contributed to revenue growth for Pecos River, fostering a $17 million training and consulting company.
Mr. Robinson is a former National Industry Manager for Control Data Corporation (Ceridian), responsible for alternative distribution and marketing. His marketing programs resulted in a 30% increase in revenue. Robinson also worked as a Zone Manager for the Lincoln Mercury Division of Ford Motor Company, responsible for wholesale new car sales, dealer sales, and market penetration for the Maine/New Hampshire territory, where he increased sales by 15%.
As Vice President of Sales for Wilson Learning Corporation in Minneapolis, Mr. Robinson managed the eastern United States territory, increasing sales by 20%. He left in 1997 to establish The Robinson Group.
Mr. Robinson serves on the Board of Turning Point and formerly on the Board of Trustees for the Breck School in Minneapolis. He is a former Board Member of the Rio Grande School in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He has also been on the Board of Advisors for Urban Venture Leadership Foundation and the Board of the Fairway Foundation. His love and passion for teaching has guided his distinguished career.
